Job summary

Catalyst Metals Ltd is seeking a motivated Surveyor – Underground to join the Plutonic Gold Mine team in the Eastern Gascoyne region of Western Australia.

You will deliver survey data, mine plans and technical information to support safe, efficient development and production. The role requires relevant surveying qualifications, strong numerical and analytical skills, and proficiency with Deswik and Leica Total Stations.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Surveying.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in surveying software such as Deswik or similar applications.
• Experience using Leica Total Stations and CMS will be highly regarded.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Flexible, solutions-focused approach to improving systems, procedures and practices.
• National Police Check meeting business requirements.
• Current WA C Class Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct survey mark-outs for drill and blast rings, mine development, exploration drilling and raisebore activities.
• Complete accurate surveys of underground workings, stopes, ore stockpiles, infrastructure and completed development.
• Prepare and maintain survey plans, including development instructions, end-of-month reporting, dig permits and emergency response plans.
• Establish, maintain and verify underground survey control networks and associated survey databases.
• Provide accurate survey information to support geological mapping, mine planning and operational decision-making.
• Collaborate with mining and technical services teams to ensure survey activities are completed safely, accurately and within operational timeframes.
