Job summary

Catalyst Metals Ltd in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Underground Mining Foreman for the Plutonic Gold Mine on an 8/6 roster. You will lead Mining Supervisors, coordinate crews and resources, and ensure underground activities meet safety standards and production targets.

The role emphasises developing capable teams, improving safety, productivity and efficiency, and working with technical teams to optimise mine performance while aligning with Catalyst's standards and values.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated underground mining experience, including supervisory or leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of underground mining methods, equipment and production processes.
• Proven ability to coordinate teams and resources to deliver operational targets.
• Effective communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to safety, team development and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and support Mining Supervisors to maintain a safe, productive and accountable workforce.
• Coordinate personnel, equipment and resources to achieve planned mining targets.
• Oversee daily underground activities, ensuring alignment with production schedules and operational priorities.
• Maintain compliance with Catalyst Metals' safety standards, policies, procedures and statutory requirements.
• Identify operational challenges and drive practical improvements in safety, productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with technical and operational teams to support effective planning and mine performance.
