Job summary

Foresight Energy in Australia seeks a Shuttle Car Operator to load and move materials underground, control conveyors, and coordinate vehicle traffic in an active mining environment.

Requirements include 2+ years as a Shuttle Car Operator and current Underground MSHA Experienced Miner Training. Compensation is hourly with potential bonuses for safety and attendance, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Shuttle Car Operator.
• Current Underground MSHA Experienced Miner Training.

Responsibilities

• Control conveyors that run the entire length of shuttle cars to distribute loads as loading progresses.
• Maneuver shuttle cars into position for loading and unloading.
• Position material handling equipment.
• Drive loaded shuttle cars to conveyors, with awareness of miners, equipment, and power cables.
• Observe hand signals, light signals, stakes, or other markings when operating machines.
• Signal others to coordinate vehicle movement.
• Clean, fuel, and service equipment; repair or replace parts as necessary.
• Clean machinery or equipment.
• Monitor loading processes to ensure materials are loaded according to mining conditions.
• Follow Company Policies, State, and Federal Laws.
