Job summary

MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Underground Servicemen, Timbermen and Service Crew for an major underground construction project in Central West NSW. You will install and maintain underground mine services, pipes and cables, and collaborate with supervisors to ensure safety and quality on site.

Applicants should have underground mining experience, relevant licences, and the ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Underground Serviceman, Timberman or Service Crew member.
• Demonstrated underground mining experience.
• Experience installing and maintaining underground services.
• Licences and tickets relevant to the role.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Installing, extending and maintaining underground mine services.
• Installing ventilation, water, air and dewatering services.
• Installing pipes, cables and associated infrastructure.
• Completing rock drilling as required for underground construction.
• Assisting with general underground construction and service crew duties.
• Inspecting work areas, equipment and services.
• Working closely with supervisors and other underground personnel.
• Complying with site procedures and safety rules.
