Job summary

Harmony Australasia is seeking an experienced Service Crew Operator for our CSA Mine in Cobar, NSW. You will join the underground mining team to install, maintain, and repair essential underground services, keeping operations safe and efficient.

This residential 7/7 roster role requires proven underground mining experience, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively with jumbo and development crews.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in underground mining, preferably in a service crew role.
• Sound knowledge of underground mine services and equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling in a demanding underground environment.
• A team player with a commitment to safety and site procedures.
• Current driver’s licence and ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Installing and maintaining services such as air, water, dewatering, ventilation, and power cabling.
• Assisting with underground infrastructure moves, including pump setups and ventilation systems.
• Conducting inspections and performing basic troubleshooting of service equipment.
• Supporting jumbo and development crews as needed.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety in all working areas.
