Job summary

Harmony Australasia's CSA Mine in Cobar, NSW is seeking an experienced Jumbo Operator to drill faces using a jumbo drill and operate related underground mining equipment. The role requires adherence to safety standards and precise operation of headings, bolting, and ancillary equipment.

It offers a demanding 7/7 roster with day and night shifts and options for residential, DIDO or FIFO travel from Brisbane or Sydney.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (minimum P2 or equivalent).
• Demonstrated previous experience and history as a Jumbo Operator.
• Extensive knowledge of underground mining.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety requirements and Company policies and procedures.
• Ensure required standards are followed for individual work areas and equipment operation.
• Ensure headings are to standard and pulled clean for easy clean up.
• Ensure headings are supported to standard and properly positioned.
• Maintain effective equipment care to maximise utilisation and availability.
