Job summary

Westgold Resources Limited is seeking a Service Crew Operator to support underground ventilation, ground support, and services installation in Western Australia. You will contribute to safe, efficient operations and assist experienced crews across multiple underground tasks.

The role requires prior underground mining experience, a C-class licence, and Australian work rights. Applicants should have a current Police clearance and be willing to obtain DGSC where needed.

Qualifications

• Previous underground mining experience in a Service Crew role.
• Current manual C-class driver’s licence.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• National Police Clearance issued within the last 12 months.
• Current DGSC (or willingness to obtain).
• Western Australian residency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, extend, and remove underground ventilation systems.
• Ground support tasks including mesh repairs, scaling, and rock bolt installation.
• Assist with underground services installation (air, water, paste lines).
• Hazard identification, barricading, and area clean-ups.
• Operate IT as required.
• Assist jumbo, bogger, and charge-up crews with service-related activities.
• Maintain pumps, sumps, and dewatering lines.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and complete workplace documentation.
