Job summary

Catalyst Metals is seeking a Project Geologist to operate within our underground mine, reporting to the Senior Mine Geologist. You will drive geology grade control modelling, support drilling activities and provide on-site interpretation to ensure safe, productive outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a BSc in Geology, a WA C-class license (manual preferred), and at least 5 years in mining with underground production and resource modelling experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Geology.
• WA C class Driver's License (manual preferred).
• Minimum 5 years experience in mining.
• Underground production experience and basic resource modelling essential.
• Proficient in Leapfrog, Vulcan, Surpac and GIS.
• Demonstrate commitment to best industry practices in geological tasks.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute geology grade control modelling and assist with related drilling activities.
• Provide ongoing mentorship and coaching to Mine Geologists and Field Staff.
• Contribute to short, medium and long term mine plans and schedules.
• Monitor face and drill sample and assay quality; follow up QAQC issues.
