Job summary

Vault Minerals is seeking a Production Engineer for its Deflector Operation, 160km east of Geraldton. The role focuses on safe, cost-effective stope design and day-to-day production support across underground mining activities.

You’ll work under the Senior Mining Engineers and contribute to planning, blasting and ventilation tasks, with a 15:13 or 8:6 FIFO/DIDO roster from Perth or Geraldton. The ideal candidate holds a Mining Engineering degree with underground experience, WA FCMMCC practical

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering with underground mining experience.
• Undergraduate practical experience for WA FCMMCC.
• Proficient with MS Office and Deswik Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design safe and cost-effective stopes to meet targets.
• Create production drill, prep and charge plans.
• Develop weekly schedules for production, development and service.
• Generate work instructions for ancillary activities.
• Monitor daily and weekly production data and reconciliations.
• Assist ventilation planning and underground inspections.
