Job summary

Catalyst Metals Ltd is seeking an Underground Manager to lead all aspects of underground operations at the Plutonic Gold Mine, WA. The role involves ensuring safety, production, budgets and planning align with company objectives, on a 4:3 FIFO roster from Perth.

Reporting to Mining Manager, you will coordinate with Technical Services and Underground Maintenance to optimise plans and execution, while mentoring a high-performing team in a growing operation.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in underground hard rock mining operations.
• Strong safety culture and risk management.
• Ability to manage budgets, plans and reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe and compliant underground mining operations with a strong safety culture.
• Oversee development, production and stopping performance to meet targets and optimise recovery.
• Collaborate with technical services to deliver mine plans, budgets, forecasts, schedules, and Life of Mine strategies.
• Provide leadership across planning, ventilation, survey, geotechnical and maintenance functions.
• Mentor the underground mining team to build a high performing culture.
