Job summary

Catalyst Metals is seeking a FIFO Scheduling Engineer to join our Technical Services team in Sydney, NSW. The role focuses on developing and maintaining monthly 3-Month Schedules (3MS) for underground mining, ensuring production targets are met safely and efficiently.

You will work with Underground Operations, Geology and maintenance to align plans with operational priorities and drive continuous improvement across planning processes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in underground mine planning and scheduling.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly 3-Month Schedules (3MS) for underground mining.
• Coordinate with Underground Operations, Geology and other disciplines to ensure plans are practical.
• Ensure plans are achievable and aligned with operational priorities.
• Mentor Short-Term Planning Engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement in planning and scheduling processes.
• Monitor plan compliance with weekly and operational schedules.
