Job summary

Aurelia Metals is seeking an experienced Underground Mining Engineer to join the Federation/Peak Mines in NSW. You will apply expertise in mine planning, drill and blast, ventilation and optimization to improve safety and production performance across our underground operation.

You will collaborate with Operations and Technical Services, mentor staff, and help drive continuous improvement while working on a challenging 8/6 roster.

Qualifications

• Mining Engineering degree required.
• Strong underground hard rock mining experience.
• Experience in stope design and short-term mine planning.
• Experience with drill and blast design and execution.
• Knowledge of mine ventilation and mine optimisation principles.
• Proficiency in Deswik software.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Current C Class Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, practical and innovative mine solutions to support production targets.
• Influence key operational decisions to optimise mine performance and safety.
• Mentor other team members and cultivate on-site knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with Operations and Technical Services to meet business goals.
