Job summary

Catalyst Metals is seeking a Scheduling Engineer to join the Technical Services team. You will develop monthly 3MS for underground mining, coordinate with geology, operations and maintenance, and drive adherence to production and safety goals.

The role is on a FIFO roster (8 days on, 6 days off) with potential transition to a 4 days on, 3 days off pattern as the operation grows, offering balance and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or relevant discipline.
• Experience in underground mine planning and/or scheduling, preferably gold.
• Strong competency in Deswik CAD (Spatial), Deswik Scheduler and Deswik Ops.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly 3-Month Schedules (3MS) for underground mining operations.
• Track planning and scheduling performance to ensure targets are met safely and efficiently.
• Plan underground infrastructure and support associated project activities.
• Collaborate with Underground Operations to coordinate mining activities.
