Job summary
Aurelia Metals is seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer for our Peak & Federation Mine in NSW. You will gain hands-on experience supporting underground development and production alongside seasoned professionals.
Reporting to the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will help with monitoring, ground support design, inspections, and technical tasks. This is a mentored, development-focused role with exposure to industry-leading software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering in Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent; recent graduates encouraged to apply.
- Exposure to Deswik, CAD, RocScience, DIPS, UNWEDGE, FLAC3D and MAP3D is advantageous.
- Strong interest in underground mining and geotechnical engineering.
- Excellent communication, technical writing and problem-solving skills.
- Safety-focused, collaborative attitude; valid C-class driving licence preferred.

- Support underground development and production activities.
- Contribute to geotechnical monitoring and ground support design.
- Assist with inspections and technical support across operations.
