Job summary

Hatch in Perth seeks an experienced Underground Mining Engineer to join the Mining team and deliver studies and projects across underground operations. You will work with engineers, designers, and mining professionals to apply technical expertise through the full project lifecycle.

You will contribute to safe, productive, and efficient underground mining operations, engaging with clients and stakeholders while promoting health, safety, sustainability and risk management throughout project

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in underground mining environments and understanding of underground operations.
• Knowledge of underground mining equipment, mine infrastructure, or maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to underground mining studies, technical assessments, and project work.
• Assist with mine design, mine planning, production scheduling, and equipment selection.
