Job summary

Byrnecut Australia Pty Ltd seeks experienced Underground Electricians to join our South Australian operations on a state-of-the-art fleet and contribute to an innovative, safety-focused team.

We offer full-time employment with flexible FIFO rosters (2/2, 8/6 or 7/7), flights to SA, career progression, and comprehensive training. Candidates should hold a WA Electrical Workers Licence (or be eligible) and a current Driver’s Licence, with certification in First Aid and Low Voltage Rescue.

Qualifications

• Must hold WA Electrical Workers Licence or be eligible to obtain one.
• Valid manual driver’s licence.
• Current Senior First Aid, CPR & Low Voltage Rescue.
• Experience with maintenance, fault finding, testing on underground infrastructure and mobile equipment.
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening; willing to obtain police clearance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills; safety-focused with a team mindset.

What You'll Bring

• Current Western Australian Electrical Workers Licence (or the ability to obtain one)
• Current Manual Driver's Licence
• Current Senior First Aid, CPR & Low Voltage Rescue
• Experience with scheduled maintenance, fault finding, statutory testing and inspections on underground infrastructure and mobile equipment
• Ability to successfully complete a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening
• Willingness to obtain or provide a current National Police Clearance
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
