Job summary

PHE Group in Bathurst is seeking licensed Electricians to join our permanent full-time team. The role focuses on industrial electrical and instrumentation installations in Surface and Underground environments, with a local Monday–Friday schedule and opportunities for overtime.

You will perform cable support, switchgear, transformers, and control cable terminations, while ensuring proper earthing and safety. Training and growth in mining are supported.

Qualifications

• Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Electro Tech required.
• Current NSW Electrical License required.
• High-risk work License (WP class) required.
• Working at Heights training completed in the last 16 months.
• CPR/LVR valid within the last 9 months.
• Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License required.
• White or Blue Construction Card required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake industrial electrical and instrumentation installations in Surface and Underground environments.
• Install cable support systems including cable tray, conduit, and catenary.
• Install switchgear, junction boxes, MCCs, transformers, VSDs, lighting, and communications equipment.
• Installation and terminations of High voltage, power, communication, instrument and control cables.
• Ensure correct earthing, bonding of electrical systems across all installations.
• Carry out quality checks and basic testing (continuity, insulation resistance) during installation.
• Participate in shutdowns and electrical compliance upgrades.

We are seeking safety and quality conscious Electricians to join our Bathurst team on a permanent, full-time basis. • Mining, Industrial, instrumentation and hazardous area experience are highly regarded but not essential.

The successful candidate will have:

• Working at Heights (Completed in the last 16 months)
• Current CPR/LVR (within the last 9 months)
• Current Unrestricted C Class Driver’s License
