Chinova Resources is seeking an Underground Mine Geologist to join the Mining Team and provide geological support to mining operations through ore control, mapping, sampling and data interpretation. The role collaborates with Production, Survey, Planning, Processing and Exploration teams to maximise ore recovery and minimise dilution.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field, experience in underground/open pit mining geology, and strong knowledge of ore

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences or related discipline.
• Experience in underground and/or open pit mining geology.
• Strong understanding of ore control and geological sampling practices.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and geological data management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsabilités

• Provide geological support to mining operations through ore control, geological mapping, sampling and data interpretation to ensure safe, efficient ore extraction.
• Deliver accurate geological information to production teams and assist with reconciliation and resource development.
• Lead underground geological mapping and oversee sampling programs including face, chip and grade control sampling.
• Monitor ore zones and identify geological structures impacting mining activities.
• Maintain geological databases and ensure data quality and integrity.
• Support production meetings with timely geological updates and recommendations.
