Job summary

Westgold Resources Limited is seeking an experienced Mine Control Supervisor to oversee underground Mine Control operations. You will lead Mine Controllers, monitor real‑time activities, and coordinate with operations, maintenance and technical teams to ensure safe, compliant and efficient performance.

Applicants should have a strong background in underground mining, safety systems, and people management, with proven experience in dispatch and personnel tracking systems.

Qualifications

• Experience as Mine Control Supervisor or Senior Mine Controller or similar role.
• Strong understanding of underground mining operations and safety systems.
• Proven leadership and people management capability.
• Excellent communication, organisation and decision‑making skills.
• Experience with mine control, dispatch and personnel tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate Mine Control operations across all shifts.
• Lead and mentor Mine Controllers and ensure adherence to procedures.
• Monitor underground mining activities in real time.
• Coordinate communication between operations, maintenance and technical teams.
• Maintain operational records, reports and compliance documentation.
• Support incident management and emergency response coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within Mine Control.
• Ensure compliance with site safety standards and statutory requirements.
