Job summary

Redpath Mining Contractors and Engineers is seeking experienced Long Hole Production Drillers for the OK Decline Underground Gold Mine on a 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth. You will operate long hole rigs underground, drill per mine plans, conduct pre-start checks, and maintain high safety and quality standards.

The role requires strong team collaboration, a solid safety culture, and the ability to work independently in a demanding underground environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating long hole production drill rigs underground.
• Experience in underground hard rock or gold mining.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence.
• National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate long hole production drill rigs underground.
• Drill production rings per mine plans.
• Perform pre-start inspections and routine maintenance.
• Ensure drilling accuracy to maximise ore recovery and minimise dilution.
• Identify and report equipment defects and safety hazards.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Collaborate with underground mining crews to meet production targets.
