Job summary

Gold Fields at Agnew Gold Mine in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Underground HD Fitter to join our Mobile Maintenance team. This permanent role operates on an 8/6 day/night roster with flights from Perth, supporting fleet reliability and safety.

You will hold an Australian recognised Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification, HR license, and hands-on experience with underground mining equipment from brands like Epiroc, CAT, Sandvik and Volvo, with SAP knowledge beneficial.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification.
• Solid track record with PM schedules and daily inspections.
• Experience with underground mining equipment and technologies (Epiroc, CAT, Sandvik, Volvo).
• High Risk Licences such as Forklift, EWP, Rigging and Dogging are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fleet performance and reliability for underground mining equipment.
• Execute PM schedules, inspections, and corrective maintenance as required.
• Operate within a Mobile Maintenance team to support continuous production.

• Land back in Perth at 4pm after day shift!

Agnew continues to build momentum, with two established underground operations, 10+ year mine life visibility and significant investment underway to support future growth. As part of this expansion, we are seeking an experienced Underground HD Fitter to join our Mobile Maintenance team and play a key role in maintaining fleet performance.

Skills & Qualifications

• Australian recognised Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Automotive Air Conditioning license is desirable
• High Risk Licence - Forklift, EWP, Basic Rigging and Dogging
• Valid WA Manual Driver's License at minimum (or Australian equivalent)
• Solid track record executing PM schedules, daily equipment inspections, and corrective maintenance for breakdowns
• Hands-on experience with underground mining equipment and technologies, including brands Epiroc, CAT, Sandvik and Volvo
• Experience with SAP is advantageous
