Job summary

Fetch Recruitment Pty is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics for a gold mine in WA, with FIFO from Perth on a 2/1 roster. Roles involve servicing, repairs and maintenance of CAT, Hitachi and Komatsu equipment.

We offer weekly pay, ongoing opportunities with a well-established mining contractor, and pathways for progression within a large project.

Qualifications

• 3+ years post-trade experience as an HD Fitter in mining machinery.
• Experience across heavy mining equipment such as trucks, diggers, dozers, loaders, graders.
• Able to work in a team or autonomously and show initiative.

Responsibilities

• Workshop, servicing, breakdowns, and repairs of mining machinery (CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu).
• Operate across multiple sites within WA gold mining projects.
• FIFO from Perth with a 2/1 roster; maintain safety and production targets.

We are seeking an experienced HD Fitters / Mechanics and can offer2/1 rosters in excellent conditions and industry leading rates.

Experience Required:

• 3 Years post trade Experience in aHD Fitter role working on mining machinery
• Experience across a variety of Heavy Mining machinery - Trucks, Diggers, Dozers, Loaders, Graders
• The ability to work as part of a team or in an autonomous position
• Trade Qualified (Australian Recognised)
• Must be available ASAP
• No contracting work / sponsorship available

Additional Requirements:

• Must have a great attitude

• Ability to show initiative and get the job done
• Current Drivers Licence
• Ability to pass a pre employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
