Gold Fields Group Services (Pty) Ltd is seeking an Underground HD Fitter to join the Mobile Maintenance team at Granny Smith. This FIFO role operates on an 8/6 roster with days and nights, offering a stable career with a leading gold producer.

The position features a competitive salary with a 6% site allowance and private health allowance, plus quarterly bonuses up to 10%. Enjoy excellent camp facilities and training opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or cert in mobile plant technology.
• Experience with heavy mining equipment and underground operations is preferred.
• Proven ability to service, maintain and repair equipment and interpret hydraulics.
• Willingness to obtain SAP exposure is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Maintain underground heavy mining equipment in a mobile maintenance team.
• Perform servicing, preventative maintenance and fault finding on equipment.
• Repair and interpret hydraulic systems and schematics.
• Operate within a FIFO roster from Perth.

Skills & Qualifications

• Australian recognised Heavy Mechanical Trade Qualification or Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology
• High Risk Licences including Forklift, EWP, Basic Rigging and Dogging desirable
• Valid WA Manual Driver’s Licence at minimum
• Experience working in a mining environment, preferably underground
• Proven mechanical experience on heavy mining equipment across servicing, preventative maintenance, fault finding and repair work, with the ability to interpret hydraulic systems and schematics
• Exposure to SAP desirable

Whilst we recognise not everyone will tick every box, we strongly encourage tradespeople with experience working on heavy mining equipment across surface/ open pit mining operations to apply, including those who have recently completed their apprenticeship.
