Job summary

Macmahon New Zealand is seeking experienced Underground Grader Operators to join the Snowy River Gold Mine Project near Reefton on New Zealand’s South Island. You will operate CAT 12M graders (or equivalent) underground, maintaining safe haul routes and work areas while supporting productivity across the operation.

Ideal candidates have proven underground mining experience, a strong safety mindset, and a team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Underground grader experience required.
• CAT 12M grader experience preferred.
• Strong safety focus and communication.

Responsibilities

• Safe, efficient operation of CAT 12M graders or equivalent.
• Maintain haul roads and access roads in active mining areas.
• Complete pre-start checks and report hazards or defects promptly.
• Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules.
• Contribute to a people-first culture and strong crew spirit.
• Support teammates and knowledge sharing within the crew.
