Job summary

Macmahon New Zealand is seeking experienced Underground Grader Operators to join the Snowy River Gold Mine Project near Reefton on New Zealand’s South Island. You will operate CAT 12M graders (or equivalent) underground, maintaining safe haul routes and work areas while supporting productivity across the operation.

Ideal candidates have proven underground mining experience, a strong safety mindset, and a team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for safety-focused operators with proven underground mining experience operating the CAT 12M graders (or equivalent). Successful candidates will play a key role in maintaining safe, efficient haulage routes and work areas, supporting productivity across our growing underground operation.

Responsibilities

• Safe, efficient operation of the CAT 12M graders OR equivalent.
• Maintain and build haul roads and access roads in active mining areas.
• Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately.
• Follow plans, instructions and traffic management rules.
