Job summary

Aurelia Metals is seeking an experienced Underground Electrician to perform electrical maintenance on fixed plant at the Peak Mine, Cobar NSW. You will support underground electrical systems, assist with reporting in Pronto, and ensure compliance with AS3000 and MECP procedures.

The role offers a rotating 14/14 roster with relocation support options and opportunities to grow within a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification required.
• Experience on underground site infrastructure preferred.
• Experience with SAP and Pronto CMMS.
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and decision-making skills.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical functionality, compliance, and preventive maintenance on underground fixed plant.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults on fixed and mobile equipment during breakdowns.
• Perform PLC programming and fault finding, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Manage parts requisitions, tagging of damaged/repairable items, and data entry in Pronto or other systems.
• Participate in daily shift meetings, liaise with other departments, and uphold safety standards.
• Maintain workshop housekeeping and ensure licences and tickets are current.
