Job summary

Redpath Mining Inc. is seeking an experienced Underground Electrician for the Lake Cowal Underground Gold Mine in New South Wales. You will install, maintain and repair underground electrical systems and equipment to ensure high availability and safety of mining operations.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised Electrical Trade Qualification is required.
• Current Electrical Licence is required.
• Underground mining electrician experience preferred.
• Current Australian work rights required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on underground mining equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on mobile and fixed plant equipment.
• Install, maintain and inspect underground electrical infrastructure.
• Complete statutory inspections and testing as per site requirements.
• Troubleshoot electrical, automation and control systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
