Job summary

Anglo American Australia’s Grosvenor Mine in Moranbah seeks a Conveyor Installs Specialist to coordinate conveyor installs and end-to-end project delivery in an underground coal mine. Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification essential or higher tertiary education desirable.
• Experience with conveyor system design in a mining setting.
• Mining maintenance experience, preferably coal, or heavy industry.
• Proven ability to lead a team to deliver targets.
• Experience driving best practice and strategy aligned to business goals.
• Ability to interpret legislation for compliance and safety.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate conveyor belt installation and end-to-end project delivery.
• Provide safe, efficient mechanical engineering services to Maintenance & Engineering.
• Coordinate resources, use work order systems and manage equipment availability.
• Develop technical specs, procedures, materials, labour and capability needs.
• Oversee conveyor overhaul and installations to meet mine schedule.
• Input to mine planning to avoid production delays from installations.
