Job summary

Kelly+Partners Accountants is seeking an Undergraduate or Graduate Accountant for their Dungog office. This role offers the opportunity to build skills and gain experience in the accounting field while being part of a top ASX-listed firm.

Key responsibilities include assisting with Financial Statement preparation and client liaising, alongside gaining valuable mentoring from experienced partners. Candidates should be enrolled in an Accounting degree and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Recently graduated or currently enrolled in an Accounting degree.
• Working experience in a Chartered Accounting practice is desirable.
• Willing to work part-time or full-time throughout studies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners to ensure timely client work.
• Assist in preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns.
• Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for various entities.

Position Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
• Assist in the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
• Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
• Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
• Help provide an exceptional service to our clientsLiaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
• Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events

About You

• Recently graduated or currently enrolled in an Accounting degree (or related discipline)
• Working experience in a Chartered Accounting practice (desirable)
• Willing to work part-time (3 days minimum) or full-time throughout your studies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
• Proactive, self‑motivated and enthusiastic
