Job summary

Parklife Metro JV, in partnership with Webuild, is seeking an Undergraduate Engineer to join the Design & Engineering - Interface & SES A team in Sydney CBD. You will gain exposure to design coordination, requirements management and assurance activities on a major rail project.

Working with an experienced team, you will support traceability, attend design meetings, prepare minutes, and contribute to evidence packs for assurance submissions while developing your civil engineering skills on a

Qualifications

• Currently studying Civil Engineering or similar is required.
• Adaptable and collaborative team player.
• Willingness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
• Familiarity with requirements management and traceability concepts is a plus.
• Experience with documentation and minutes is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support requirements traceability activities, including correlation of design and construction requirements within the RVTM.
• Attend design coordination, interface and assurance meetings in an observation and note-taking capacity, and prepare draft minutes for review.
• Support the preparation of evidence packs for assurance submissions, including document reference checking and completeness verification.
• Undertake structured review of civil design documentation to build familiarity with drawing sets, specifications and design reports.
• Prepare short written summaries and data extracts to support the Engineering Manager's reporting obligations.

Employed byWebuild, Parklife Metro is seeking an Undergraduate Engineer to join our Design & Engineering - Interface & SESA team based in Sydney CBD.

As an Undergraduate Engineer, you will gain exposure to the design coordination, requirements management and assurance functions of a major rail infrasturtucre project while contributing to defined SESASI (Systems Engineering, Safety Assurance & Systems Integration) deliverables alongside our experienced team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support requirements traceability activities, including correlation of design and construction requirements within the Requirements Verification and Traceability Matrix (RVTM).
• Attend design coordination, interface and assurance meetings in an observation and note‑taking capacity, and prepare draft minutes for review.
• Support the preparation of evidence packs for assurance submissions, including document reference checking and completeness verification.
• Undertake structured review of civil design documentation to build familiarity with drawing sets, specifications and design reports.
• Prepare short written summaries and data extracts to support the Engineering Manager's reporting obligations.

Complete all mandatory inductions and comply with project WHS, confidentiality and information handling requirements.
