Job summary

Parklife Metro JV, in partnership with Webuild, is seeking Building Site Engineers to join our Orchard Hills, Luddenham and Badgerys Creek team. Plan and sequence construction activities, track costs, manage subcontractors, and interface with design management.

Qualifications

• Tertiary engineering qualification is required.
• At least 2 years' site engineering experience on construction projects.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects with top-tier contractors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specs and method statements.
• Identify challenges early and implement solutions.
• Coordinate with foreman and subcontractors daily.
• Prepare ITPs, submittals and RFIs.
• Track expenditures and manage costs.
• Prepare procurement documentation.
• Assist with daily meetings, weekly reports and lookahead programs.
• Monitor progress and quality via inspections and photos.
• Ensure delivery complies with standards and docs.
• Manage work packages and resources to stay within budget.

Parklife Metro JV is leading the delivery of the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport project, a landmark transport initiative that will link St Marys to Bradfield and seamlessly connect with the new Western Sydney Airport.

The Opportunity:

Employed byWebuild, Parklife Metro is seeking building Site Engineers to join our team based at Orchard Hills, Luddenham &Badgerys Creek.

As a Site Engineer, your role is to plan and sequence construction activities, track costs, manage subcontractors, interface with design management and construction delivery teams.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review and understand construction drawings, specifications and method statements
• Identifyin advanceproject challenges and drive the development and implementation of solutions
• Liaise,communicateand plan with theforemanand subcontractorson a daily basisto achieve target outcomes
• Prepare ITPs, material submittals and manage RFIs
• Assistin tracking project expenditures to help manage costs and avoid budget overruns
• Prepare documentation for procurement of subcontractors andsuppliers.
• Assistin the preparation of daily meetings, weeklyreports, lookaheadprograms, etc. asrequired.
• Monitor the progress and quality of works by conducting inspections, taking photos, and reporting back to the Project Engineer & Senior Project Engineeras necessary.
• Ensure project delivery is compliant withproject andqualitystandards, including all relevant documentation

Criteria:

• Relevant Tertiary qualificationin Engineering
• 2+ years working as an engineer on a construction project - preferrable experience in delivery stations, vertical or commercial structures
• Experience in delivering large-scale, complex building or infrastructure projects with top-tier contractors
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
