AR Developments in Queensland is seeking an Undergraduate Civil Engineer for a hands‑on, full‑time role supporting civil and landscape projects from planning to completion.

You will work with experienced professionals, gain practical exposure across development, civil construction and landscaping, and be mentored toward a future Project Engineer role. This is a growing, vertically integrated business with real development experience.

Formación

• Must be currently studying a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and ideally in year 3 or 4.
• Good work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliable, motivated and able to take initiative; able to work both in office and on site.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; able to work in a team.
• Hold a valid Driver Licence and show interest in project delivery and civil construction.

Responsabilidades

• Support delivery of civil and landscape projects from planning to completion.
• Gain exposure to civil construction, subdivision and landscape projects.
• Assist in project planning, delivery, procurement and scheduling.
• Participate in estimating, tender preparation and procurement coordination.
• Assist with site supervision, quality control and contract administration.
• Contribute to project reporting and documentation.

About the Role

As an Undergraduate Civil Engineer, you'll support the successful delivery of civil and landscape construction projects from planning through to completion.

Working alongside experienced industry professionals, you'll gain practical exposure to:

• Civil construction and subdivision projects
• Landscape construction projects
• Project planning and delivery
• Estimating and tender preparation
• Procurement and supplier coordination
• Scheduling and resource planning
• Site supervision and quality control
• Contract administration
• Project reporting and documentation

This is a hands‑on role that will provide invaluable industry experience and accelerate your development as a future engineering professional.

About You

We're far more interested in your attitude than your experience.

You may already have some construction or site experience, or you may come from a fast‑paced environment such as hospitality, retail, logistics or customer service where you've developed a strong work ethic, resilience and the ability to work under pressure.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be currently studying a Bachelor of Civil Engineering
• Ideally be in your 3rd or 4th year of study

• Hold a current Driver Licence

Desirable but Not Essential

• Previous labouring or site-based experience
• White Card
• Exposure to civil construction, landscaping or infrastructure projects
• Experience reading plans and drawings
• Understanding of construction processes
