Job summary

Downer's Energy & Utilities is seeking a Tyre Fitter to join our Barrow Island team. You will inspect, service and maintain site vehicles and mobile fleet including buses, trucks and cranes, with experience in split rim tyres and inventory prep for tyre changes.

Working on Barrow Island requires relevant trade certification and licences, plus safety training. The role operates on a 2:2 FIFO lifestyle roster with flights from Perth Airport, in a supportive environment focused on Zero Harm.

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing is required.
• WA Drivers Licence with HR considered highly favourable.
• White Card / Construction Induction is required.
• Working at Heights trained within last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and maintain site vehicles and mobile fleet (buses, trucks, cranes and more) on Barrow Island.

The Opportunity

Downer's Energy & Utilities division is seeking a Tyre Fitter to join our team on Barrow Island, WA. Chevron operates one of the world's largest LNG projects producing both natural gas for the domestic market and LNG for export internationally. In this role you will inspect, service, and maintain site wide vehicles and mobile fleet including buses, trucks, cranes and more. You will also utilise your experience with split rim tyres and inventory management to prepare for incoming tyre changes and work scopes.

About You

• Trade Certificate II - Automotive Tyre Servicing
• WA Drivers Licence - HR highly regarded
• White Card / Construction Induction
• Working at Heights (completed within last 2 years)
• Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
