Downer's Energy & Utilities is offering a casual project plumber role on Barrow Island, WA. You will help replace the Digester and Treated Effluent Tanks at Bridging Wastewater Treatment Plant, supporting mechanical and piping tasks for removal of old infrastructure and installation of new assets.

This ongoing casual position starts immediately and runs through to the end of 2026, with potential extension. Ideal candidates hold a Trade Certificate III in Plumbing/Gasfitting, WA Driver’s Licence,

Qualificações

• Trade Certificate III - Plumber / Gasfitter.
• WA Drivers Licence.
• White Card / Construction Induction.
• Working at Heights (within last 2 years).
• Hepatitis A, B, & Tetanus vaccinations.
• Experience with hand tools and equipment for tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Replace Digester & Treated Effluent Tanks at Bridging Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The Opportunity

Downer's Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for a Plumber to join the team located on Barrow Island, WA. You will play a key role in the replacement of the Digester & Treated Effluent Tanks at the Bridging Wastewater Treatment Plant. You'll support critical mechanical and piping activities associated with the removal of existing infrastructure and installation of new wastewater treatment assets. This is a casual ongoing position starting immediately, running until the end of 2026 with possibility of extension.

About You

• Trade Certificate III - Plumber / Gasfitter


• WA Drivers Licence


• White Card / Construction Induction


• Working at Heights (completed within last 2 years)


• Hepatitis A, B, & Tetanus Vaccinations


• Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks


• Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety
