Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd, a Canberra-based recruitment and services firm, seeks a TSPV/TSPA cleared Lead Security Analyst to drive threat-driven security analytics and SOC operations onsite in ACT/SA. TSPV/PA - 2 x Lead Security Analyst Cyber Threat Analysts (Onsite - ACT/SA)

TSPV/TSPA Cleared - Lead Security Analyst - Cyber Threat & SOC Operations | Onsite-ACT/SA

Lead threat-driven cyber security analysis across secure ICT environments, with a strong focus on SOC operations, threat intelligence, vulnerability assessment, incident monitoring and response. This role suits an experienced Security Analyst with hands-on capability across Splunk Enterprise Security, EDR, NDR and SOAR platforms.

Work Arrangement: Onsite
Contract Duration Initial 12-month contract, with 2 x 12-month extension options
Security Clearance Requirement Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a TSPV/TSPA clearance to perform this role.

Essential Tasks

• Analyse system security using threat intelligence and threat-driven assessment techniques
• Monitor security events, investigate incidents and develop response plans and playbooks
• Assess vulnerabilities and security controls, recommending practical remediation actions
• Support security testing, evaluation activities and technical leadership requirements

Key Criteria

• Demonstrated experience working in a Security Operations Centre as a Security Analyst
• Strong experience using Splunk Enterprise Security
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response and Network Detection and Response platforms
• Experience with Security Orchestration, Automation and Response platforms
