Job summary

ASTAR Personnel in Prestons, NSW is hiring reliable MR Licence Truck Drivers for a hands-on delivery role across Sydney. You will drive an MR truck, load/unload freight, and service stores, restaurants, and homes with physical daily work.

Start times around 5:00–6:00am; typical shifts are 8–12 hours. There is an opportunity for a 4- or 5-day week. You must be fit, dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current MR licence.
• Delivery/truck driving experience preferred.
• Physically fit for manual handling and demanding work.
• Good knowledge of Sydney roads.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking MR Licence Truck Drivers to join our team based in Prestons, NSW.

This is a hands on delivery role involving a mixture of pallet, hand and carton loading/unloading. Manual labour is a significant part of the job, so you must be physically fit, capable and comfortable with a demanding day on the road.

What the job involves

• Driving an MR truck and completing deliveries throughout Sydney
• Loading and unloading pallets, cartons and hand-loaded freight
• Regular manual handling and physical work
• Deliveries into stores and businesses
• Deliveries to houses and residential locations
• Deliveries to restaurants and cafés
• Deliveries to bars and clubs
• A variety of delivery locations — no two days are necessarily the same

Start times generally between 5:00am and 6:00am, depending on the day

Typical working days are 8–12 hours

Opportunity to work a 4 or 5-day week

What we're looking for

• Current MR Licence
• Previous truck driving/delivery experience preferred
