Job summary

Economy Transport Llc is seeking an MR Driver for an ongoing role based at Penrith. You will perform multi-drop deliveries of cardboard products across Sydney and some regional runs, starting early each day and working up to 10 hours, five days a week.

The role requires a valid MR licence, proven multidrop experience, a strong customer service focus, and the ability to work unsupervised while maintaining your truck and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current and Valid MR Licence.
• Proven history of driving experience with multidrop.
• Knowledge of Chain Of Responsibility.
• Customer service oriented.
• Able to work unsupervised.
• Willing to be part of a long term company.
• Knowledge of northern beaches and botany/Alexandria deliveries.
• Physically fit.
• Be hands on to maintain own truck (fluid checks etc).

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of cardboard products to clients across the Sydney metropolitan area, and occasionally regional.
• Possible 5am start with an average of 10 hours per day, 5 days per week.
• Drive manual/split shift and automatic transmissions, including jumbo tautliner 4.2m high 14 pallets.
• Work as part of a team and complete deliveries to schedule while adhering to safety.

We are a small family owned business, contracting to a large company. We are currently seeking an MR Driver with multi drop and high customer service experience to start in an ongoing role based at Penrith.

Within this role you will be required to deliver a range of cardboard products to clients across the Sydney metropolitan area, and regional occasionally.

This role will require:

• Possible 5am start and work an average of 10 hours per day, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday).
• Must be available Monday to Friday 12 hours per day.
• Able to drive manual/split shift and automatic. With a jumbo tautliner 4.2m high 14 pallet.

To be successful you will need to have:

• Current and Valid MR Licence
• Proven history of driving experience - Able to do multidrop and work in a safe manner
• Knowledge of Chain Of Responsibility
• Customer service orientated
• Be able to work unsupervised
• Work as a team and work until work is completed or regulated hours
