Job summary

Autocare Services in New South Wales seeks an experienced Night Shift HC Truck Driver to transport new vehicles for dealership networks. You will operate car-carrying trucks, prepare and load vehicles, and ensure secure transport while representing Autocare and our customers.

You must hold a current HC licence with a strong safety focus, professional presentation, and the ability to plan loads for varying vehicle sizes. A BFM certificate is valued but not essential.

• Professional presentation and reliability are essential for representing Autocare and customers.
• Ability to plan vehicle loads for varying shapes and sizes, with confidence handling high‑value loads.

About the role
You’ll be responsible for the safe, professional transport of new vehicles, representing both Autocare and our customers at every delivery, while living our values of Safety, People, Customer and Performance.
In this permanent position, you will:

• Operate HC car-carrying vehicles to deliver new cars to dealerships
• Prepare and arrange vehicles for safe transport
• Load and unload vehicles onto trailers
• Secure and strap vehicles once loaded
• Conduct Metro NSW and regional/rural runs as required
• Present a professional image and provide excellent service to customers

About you

You are a customer-focused, safety-conscious HC driver who takes pride in your work. You will have:

• A current HC driver’s licence
• Strong focus on safety, quality and customer service
• Professional presentation, reliability and punctuality
• The ability to plan loads based on the varying shapes and sizes of vehicles
• Confidence in handling and transporting high-value loads.
• A BFM (Basic Fatigue Management) certificate – highly regarded but not essential
