Job summary

PrixCar Services Pty Ltd is looking for HR and HC Local Truck Drivers to join our dynamic Transport team. The nightshift positions commence at 5pm, and we provide fully paid in-house training for accreditation.

Responsibilities include operating a new car carrier, loading and securing vehicles for transport, and conducting vehicle inspections. Ideal candidates should possess a clean driving record and HR or HC licence. We offer competitive hourly rates plus overtime.

Qualifications

• Driver's licence (HR or HC) is essential for the role.
• A clean driving record is required.
• Capability to handle valuable loads confidently.
• Understanding fatigue management principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a new 3-4 car carrier efficiently.
• Load vehicles onto trailers for transport safely.
• Secure and strap vehicles once loaded.
• Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report any issues.
• Complete local Melbourne runs with occasional longer trips.

What you will do

• Operating our brand new 3-4 car carrier
• Loading vehicles onto trailers for safe transport
• Securing and strapping vehicles once loaded
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips, log and report any anomalies
• Local Melbourne runs with occasional regional runs

What you will bring

• HR or HC licence required
• Have a clean driving record
• Confident handling loads of high value on a day to day basis
• Basic Understanding of fatigue management

Nice to have

• Experience in car carrying preferred but not essential
• MSIC an advantage
