Job summary

Carma is seeking an HC Truck Driver to join our Logistics team in Sydney. You will be responsible for safe transportation of vehicles between sites and ensuring deliveries are on schedule, with full training provided where needed.

You will operate loading equipment, perform safety inspections, and collaborate with internal teams to maintain high fleet availability. Monday–Friday with a rotating roster at our Granville location, offering a dynamic, hands-on work environment.

Qualifications

• HC licence with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Own the movement: operate vehicle transport equipment safely and manage daily delivery schedules to ensure timeliness.
• Load & launch: handle loading/unloading of vehicles per safety procedures and standards.
• Inspect & comply: perform pre- and post-delivery inspections and ensure compliance with road safety policies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: work with internal teams to achieve successful delivery outcomes and address issues.
• Drive digital workflows: use internal systems to update deliveries, maintain documentation, and track processes.
• Training Included: full training provided on loading/unloading transporters if you have a solid driving record.

As a Carma Driver, you keep our network moving. Your focus is simple but critical: safe driving, smart loading, and site-to-site vehicle transfers. You take full responsibility for moving our inventory between locations safely and on schedule, ensuring our sites stay fully stocked and operational.

What you'll be doing?

• Own the movement: Operate vehicle transport equipment safely and responsibly at all times while managing daily delivery schedules to ensure vehicles are delivered on time.
• Load & launch: Handle the loading and unloading of vehicles in strict accordance with safety procedures and operational standards.
• Inspect & comply: Conduct thorough pre- and post-delivery inspections of vehicles and equipment while maintaining total compliance with road safety and transport policies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with internal teams to ensure successful delivery outcomes and close the loop on issues.
• Drive digital workflows: Use internal systems and technology to manage real-time delivery updates, maintain accurate documentation, and track operational workflows.
• Training Included: Prior car-haulage experience isn't required. As long as you have a solid driving record, we’ll give you full training on how to safely load and unload our transporters.

Success in this role is defined by a logistics flow that runs predictably, moves vehicles consistently, and sets the foundation for a high-performing internal fleet.

• Heavy Vehicle Pro: You hold a current HC licence and have the confidence, skill, and spatial awareness to safely haul a 4-car carrier.
• Flexible Operator: You roll with changing priorities easily and take short-notice schedule shifts or site-to-site transfers in stride.
• Safety First: You hold yourself and your rig to high safety standards, making sure loads are secure and reporting hazards or mechanical concerns straight away.
• Hands-On & Reliable: A practical problem-solver who takes pride in getting the job done right. When an issue pops up on the road, you take ownership and sort it out.

In this role, you will be full time Monday-Friday, rotating roster at our brand new Granville location!
