KEHM Transport is seeking a Truck Driver to service asphalt plants and road construction projects across Brisbane, Ipswich and South East Queensland.

You will operate tipper or live-floor trucks, hold a current HR/HC/MC licence and a White/Blue Card, and perform pre-start inspections with a focus on safety. Regular day and night shifts are available with well-maintained equipment and opportunities to upskill.

Qualifications

• A current HR, HC or MC licence is required.
• Construction Industry White/Blue Card is a must.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
• ASPHALT cartage experience highly regarded.

Truck Driver (Asphalt and Construction materials)

Depending on your licence and experience, you'll operate tipper and/or live-floor equipment, primarily servicing asphalt plants and road construction projects throughout Brisbane, Ipswich and South East Queensland. KEHM Transport specialises in transport and cartage services to the road construction and asphalt industry.

Key responsibilities

• Transporting asphalt and bulk construction materials
• Delivering to roadworks and construction sites throughout SE Queensland
• Operating tippers and live-floor trucks safely and professionally
• Completing daily pre-start inspections
• Reporting defects and maintenance issues promptly
• Completing delivery dockets, run sheets and required paperwork
• Keeping your truck clean and presentable
• Following company, customer and site safety requirements
• Communicating professionally with customers, supervisors and site personnel
• Taking responsibility for your equipment and your work

About you

• A current HR, HC or MC licence
• Construction Industry White/Blue Card
• A strong commitment to safe driving and safe work practices
• A good driving record
• Ability to work independently and manage your responsibilities
• A professional and courteous attitude
• Willingness to work around the requirements of the road construction industry
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Asphalt experience highly regarded but not essential
• Experience operating tippers or live floors and previous asphalt cartage experience will be highly regarded
