Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking enthusiastic Tipper Drivers to join our Mackay or Emerald Fleet Team. Based in Emerald or Mackay, you will deliver quarry products to our plants and sites, reporting to the Quarry Manager. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday with potential overtime and weekend work.

Your base rate is $34.20 per hour plus penalties; base location can be Emerald or Mackay depending on location. PPE and uniform are provided, and a strong safety focus is essential.

Qualifications

• MC or HC licence required for operation of heavy vehicles.
• Front-end loader ticket is advantageous.
• Safety focused with a drive for quality and efficiency.
• Industry understanding and willingness to progress within Heidelberg Materials Transport Department.
• Experience with semi/truck and dog combinations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quarry products to internal concrete plants and external sites.
• Drive reliable, well-maintained equipment and load/deliver as directed.
• Base location at Emerald or Mackay depending on location.
• Communicate effectively and go the extra mile for customers.

Job description

Heidelberg Materials Australia is looking to recruit enthusiastic and experienced Tipper Drivers to join our Mackay or Emerald Fleet Team. We seek drivers who are passionate about safety, results-focused, and have a strong work ethic.

Reporting to the Quarry Manager and based in Emerald or Mackay, you will be responsible for delivering quarry products to our internal concrete plants and external job sites.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime and weekend work based on business needs.

About the Role:

• Your base rate will be $34.20 per hour plus penalties (1.5 X rate after 8 hours, 2 X rate after 10 hours).
• We can base you at either Emerald or Mackay depending on your location.
• All PPE and unform is provided.
• Drive reliable and well-maintained equipment.
• Load and deliver quarry products as directed by the Quarry.
• Have effective communication and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers is essential.

Background and Experience required:

• MC or HC Licence
• Operated Semi and truck and dog combinations (not essential)
• Are results focused, self-motivated and take pride in your work.
• Have a front-end loader Ticket (advantageous)
• Have a positive safety focus.
• Have a good understanding of the Transport Industry
• Are willing to learn and progress within the Heidelberg Materials Transport Department
• Quad experience will be highly regarded!
