Job summary

JK Williams is seeking an experienced Water Cart/Truck operator to join our civil construction teams across NSW. You will operate water carts on diverse sites, perform associated labour tasks, and support project delivery while maintaining strong safety and communication standards.

The role requires an HC licence, a current White Card, tipping experience, and a valid SOA/VOC for Water Cart, with a minimum of 2 years on civil sites.

Qualifications

• Current White Card and HC Licence are required.
• Tipping experience with Water Carts/Trucks is preferred.
• SOA or VOC for Water Cart is required.
• Proven 2+ years of water cart/truck operation on civil sites.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with a safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate Water Carts across civil construction sites.
• Safely operate the truck and dog to transport materials to residential sites.
• Assist with general labouring duties on-site as required.
• Work independently and as part of a strong team.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and teammates.
• Uphold Quality, WHS and Environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate Water Carts across various civil construction sites.
• Operate the truck and dog combination safely and efficiently to transport materials to and from residential sites.
• Assist with general labouring duties as required on-site.
• Work independently and take initiative while also contributing to a strong team environment.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with supervisors and teammates.
• Support and uphold our commitment to Quality, Workplace Health & Safety (WHS), and Environmental standards.

Role Requirements

• A current White Card
• HC Licence
• Tipping experience
• A valid Statement of Attainment (SOA) and/or Verification of Competency (VOC) for Water Cart.
• Proven experience operating Water Carts/Trucks - ideally with a minimum of 2+ years on civil sites.
• The ability to work both unsupervised and collaboratively in a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
