Job summary

JK Williams is seeking a skilled Dump Truck Operator to join our civil construction team in NSW. You will drive articulated and rigid dump trucks, move bulk materials, and support site delivery with reliable, safe operation.

You will perform pre-start checks, follow site plans, and work closely with Supervisors and plant operators. A strong work ethic, clear communication, and commitment to WHS standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Dump truck experience in civil construction or bulk earthworks.
• Solid competency operating large mobile plant safely and efficiently.
• Clear understanding of site safety and environmental obligations.

Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks safely and productively across live civil construction sites.
• Transport bulk materials in line with site plans and supervisor direction.
• Complete thorough pre-start inspections.
• Follow all loading and haulage procedures to keep site movement smooth.
• Work with a team of experienced operators.
• Collaborate with Supervisors, Leading Hands and plant operators.
• Own your WHS and environmental responsibilities.

What You\'ll Be Doing

You\'ll be behind the wheel of articulated and/or rigid dump trucks, hauling bulk materials - spoil, aggregates, fill - across active civil construction sites. Your work directly drives project delivery, so reliability and precision matter.

• Operate dump trucks safely and productively across live civil construction sites
• Transport bulk materials in line with site plans and supervisor direction
• Complete thorough pre-start inspections
• Follow all loading and haulage procedures to keep site movement smooth
• Work with a team of experienced operators
• Collaborate with Supervisors, Leading Hands and plant operators
• Own your WHS and environmental responsibilities

What You Bring

• Dump truck experience in civil construction or bulk earthworks
• Solid competency operating large mobile plant - safely and efficiently
• A genuine understanding of site safety and environmental obligations
• Valid VOC for dump truck operation
• Rock-solid attendance, strong work ethic and a team-first attitude
• Clear communicator who takes direction
