Job summary

Boral is seeking a driver at our Gunnedah Concrete Plant to deliver concrete to customers using agitator trucks. You will be trained by a Driver Trainer and supported across a range of infrastructure projects.

The role offers permanent, full-time employment with overtime and a monthly rostered day off to promote work-life balance. Ideal candidates will hold a current HR licence with heavy vehicle experience and a White Card; full training is provided to develop expertise within the concrete

• White card.
• Interest in the concrete industry with full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-checks on the vehicle and operate agitator trucks safely.
• Manage slump tolerance levels and discharge of concrete (training provided).
• Deliver concrete to customer sites and liaise with clients to maintain service quality.
• Complete basic documentation related to collection and delivery of concrete.
• Communicate effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences.

As a Boral driver based out of our Gunnedah Concrete Plant, you will play a key role in building our community every day. You will be trained by a dedicated Driver Trainer in the safe operation of Agitator Trucks, and you will be guided on how to deliver Boral’s concrete to our valued customers. From driveways to stadiums, you will provide high quality service to our customers and leave your mark on a variety of infrastructure projects.

Your day will involve:

• Conducting daily pre-checks on the vehicle and operating our agitator trucks in a safe manner
• Managing slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete (training provided)
• Delivering concrete to customer sites and partnering with clients effectively to maintain service
• Completing basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of the concrete
• Communicating effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences

What are we looking for?

• Current HR drivers' licence with heavy vehicle driving experience
• White card
• Interest in the concrete industry will be highly regarded with full training provided
