Job summary

Boral based in Chinchilla is seeking a dedicated driver to operate agitator trucks from the Chinchilla Concrete Plant. You will be trained by a Driver Trainer to safely deliver concrete to customers and support a range of infrastructure projects.

This permanent, full-time role offers overtime, access to Employee Assistance Program, and clear opportunities for career growth within Boral.

Qualifications

• Current HR driver's licence with heavy vehicle driving experience.
• White card (construction induction).
• Safety-focused with a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-checks on the vehicle and operate agitator trucks safely.
• Manage slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete (training provided).
• Deliver concrete to customer sites and collaborate with clients to maintain service quality.
• Complete basic documentation for collection and delivery of concrete.
• Communicate effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences.

As a Boraldriverbased out of ourChinchilla Concrete Plant, you will play a key role in building our community every day. You will be trained by a dedicated Driver Trainer in the safe operation of Agitator Trucks, and you will be guided on how to deliver Boral's concrete to our valued customers. From driveways to stadiums, you will provide high-quality service to our customers and leave your mark on a variety of infrastructure projects.

Your day will involve:

• Conducting daily pre-checks on the vehicle and operating our agitator trucks in a safe manner
• Managing slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete (training provided)
• Delivering concrete to customer sites and partnering with clients effectively to maintain service
• Completing basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of the concrete
• Communicating effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences

What are we looking for?

• Current HR drivers' licence with heavy vehicle driving experience
• White card
• Interest in the concrete industry will be highly regarded with full training provided
• A strong commitment to safety and the environment along with a superior customer focus
