Job summary

Boral Concrete Mareeba Plant is recruiting for a permanent, full-time Driver to join our team in Mareeba, Queensland. You will be trained by a Driver Trainer to operate agitator trucks and deliver concrete to customers, ensuring high-quality service across diverse infrastructure projects.

Your day involves vehicle pre-checks, managing slump levels, on-site deliveries, documentation, and close collaboration with production and allocation teams.

Qualifications

• Current HR drivers' licence with heavy vehicle driving experience.
• White card.
• Interest in the concrete industry with full training provided.
• Strong commitment to safety and the environment with a superior customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Conducting daily pre-checks on the vehicle and operating agitator trucks safely.
• Managing slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete (training provided).
• Delivering concrete to customer sites and partnering with clients to maintain service.
• Completing basic documentation related to collection and delivery of concrete.
• Communicating with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences.

We are reopening out Mareeba Concrete Plant and have multiple opportunities for Drivers. As a Boral driver based out of our Mareeba Concrete Plant, you will play a key role in building our community every day. You will be trained by a dedicated Driver Trainer in the safe operation of Agitator Trucks, and you will be guided on how to deliver Boral's concrete to our valued customers. From driveways to stadiums, you will provide high-quality service to our customers and leave your mark on a variety of infrastructure projects.

Your day will involve:

• Conducting daily pre-checks on the vehicle and operating our agitator trucks in a safe manner
• Managing slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete (training provided)
• Delivering concrete to customer sites and partnering with clients effectively to maintain service
• Completing basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of the concrete
• Communicating effectively with production and allocation staff regarding customer and project experiences

What are we looking for?

• Current HR drivers' licence with heavy vehicle driving experience
