The successful candidate will have livestock transport experience, a valid MC licence and a good driving record, with a positive attitude and strong time management.

Qualifications

• Experience with livestock transport and low-stress handling.
• Must hold a current MC licence and a valid drivers licence.
• At least 1 year in livestock transport and a clean traffic history.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a truck on rural, regional and urban roads.
• Service and maintain the truck and farming machinery.
• Handle livestock safely with emphasis on animal welfare.

Truck Driver

BSN Trading is a family owned, progressive and innovative Farming, Backgrounding and Feedlot Enterprise based in the Roma District.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, honest and experienced person to join our growing team as a permanent, full-time MC Driver for both livestock and grain.

This valued position as our MC Livestock Driver you will be required to meet the following to be a successful applicant:

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a truck with ‘moving’ freight in both rural and regional roads as well as metropolitan traffic conditions.
• Service and maintenance of your truck and other farming machinery.
• Carry out safe & efficient handling of livestock with animal welfare as a priority.

Skills and Abilities

• Livestock experience - Low stress handling
• Hold aCurrent MC licence & Drivers licence.
• At least 1 year’s experience in livestock transport.
• Current Traffic history (will have or willing to obtain)
• Excellent time management skills
• Positive attitude and attention to detail
