Job summary

Star Track Express PL in Mackay is seeking an unrestricted MR Truck Driver to deliver for customers and act as the face of our Mackay-based StarTrack business within the local community.

This 6-month fixed-term contract pays $34.83/hr plus 13% super and overtime rates, with a district allowance of $50/week. You’ll be part of a team that values safety, wellbeing, and growth opportunities, working on the road and supporting community connectivity.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant unrestricted MR licence.
• Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all shapes, sizes and weights.
• Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility.
• Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.
• Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less.
• Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national police checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading your truck with freight for deliveries with teammates at the facility.
• Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
• Driving our modern trucks between operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups.
• Returning to our operational centres to unload pickups.

About the opportunity

Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our unrestricted MR Truck Driver, you’ll be the face of our trustedMackay based StarTrack business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you’ll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn’t get better than that!

This role is offered as aninitial 6 month fixed term contract, paying $34.83/hr plus 13% super and overtime rates. Also aligned to Mackay is a District allowance of $50/week .

You’ll be

• Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility.

You’ll also need to
