Job summary

Star Track Express PL in Wingfield, South Australia, is seeking a casual MR Truck Driver to deliver for our local community. You’ll be on the road with our iconic blue trucks, representing our trusted Wingfield business, while enjoying independence and a supportive team on every shift.

This casual role offers 1 to 5 shifts Mon–Fri, with pay at $42.91 per hour plus 13% super. You’ll drive between operational centres and customers, perform safety checks, and return to the Wingfield facility to

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant unrestricted MR licence.
• Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck.
• Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility.
• Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.
• Meet the safe working load limit of 130 kgs or less.
• Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and nationally coordinated criminal history checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading your truck with freight for deliveries with teammates at the facility.
• Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
• Driving our modern trucks between operational centres and customers for deliveries and pickups.

About the opportunity

Are you motivated by getting behind the wheel of one of our iconic blue trucks to deliver for customers? As our casual unrestricted MR Truck Driver, you'll be the face of our trusted Wingfield based StarTrack business, at the heart of your community and connecting businesses with their customers, and communities with each other day-in, day-out. You might not be working from home, but you'll be on the road as a staple of your community, and it doesn't get better than that!

This casual role works between 1 to 5 shifts from Mon-Fri and pays $42.91 per hour inclusive of casual loading plus 13% super.

You’ll be

• Safely loading your truck with freight for your deliveries with teammates at the facility.
• Completing your own daily vehicle safety check.
• Driving our modern trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and pick-ups.
• Returning to our Wingfield facility to unload pick-ups.

You’ll also need to
